I'm thinkin of tryin this game out soon so I was lookin through the different classes of characters on the site.
I think the one that sounds most interesting to me is the Treasure Hunter. Anyone have any thoughts or comments on this class for a starter character?
Another question, how many characters are you allowed to keep at one time?

Treaure Hunters are an average class in C3!!!
In chronicles 2 they were right up there with the top PVPer's...
But they are ok, dont really matter that much who you start with as long as you start and learn more things about each class as you progress...
Little tip: The best classes for fighting in chronicles 3 are Spellsingers, Overlords, and Necromancers.
Spellsingers = Elven Mage
Overlords = Orcish Mage
Necromancer = Human Mage
And I think you are allowed 9 characters in your account...
But keep in mind you can have many accounts...
Half the work that is done in this world is to make things appear what they are not.

Thanks for the info. I think that 9 characters is gonna be plenty for me. :)

Never played a TH aka dagger spammer but have been killed by them on more than one ocassion. Only thing I know about any of the dagger classes is they changed the skill "backstab" in C3 to where you have to be behind them to use it or else it fails at a higher %. Guess this upset alot of people who play that class. Its also the #1 choice of PKers so If you like to PvP It seems it would be a good class for that too.

Actually, I'm not a big fan of PvP. From what you say, it sounds like it might be fun to run around masquerading as a PvPer. :) Perhaps they will leave me alone then, or perhaps maybe not.

Ok, so I'm still thinkin of becoming a rogue and eventually a Treasure Hunter. What good is having a skill that unlocks things? I haven't run into many locked doors or chests in playing so far (lvl 17), so is it even worth it to spend the time lvling a TH or would it be better to just go another way other than rogue?

TH aren't really much of treasure hunters. Well, kinda they are. The unlock skill is for those chests you have found. But we have already talked about those. I've never really found any lock doors, but then I never got into very high content.
The thing TH are for really is that lovely, lovely dagger. That is one hell of an attack. It does mega damage, and daggers swing very quickly (and skills recharge quick also). Rogues are more of a damage dealer. So if you want to play someone who does a bunch of damage, they are the way to go.

Well, maybe then I'll not be a TH. The dagger is nice, but it misses waaaaaay to much to rely on it. I guess I'll take another look at the skills.

I've noticed that it seems to miss quite a bit less when fighting greens or easier. It seems pretty much worthless when goin up against a white, and that's when you need it to do the most damage, lest ye die a most greusome death.

Well, she's only lvl 17, so she's not even a rogue yet. I like to plan ahead though. If I'm not goin the TH route, then I was planning on maybe Gladiator or Dark Avenger, so it's not like I can wait till lvl 39 to decide if I wanna be a TH or not. Ya know?

Oh, I understand completely. You got to know what you are getting into because there is no going back afterwards. I was just thinking the dagger would hit more often the higher level you get. And if you haven't even reached level 20 I can see why you are missing a lot. D-Grade will change your life *grin*

Hmm, well, perhaps I will continue on the path to a TH then.
