Id have to agree with christdevil, the bishops are hellastrong. They have so many buffs that they should use swords and buff themselves up.
And dude, orcs may be strong, but a Silver Ranger could beat the sh*t out of any orc, but a good mage could beat thwe SR, although i doubt it.
When hell is full, the dead will walk the earth...

I think that the priests are the best buffers, cos ive seen a lot of people wearing mitrhil tunics, and have dual swords. Personally, i dont think its a very good idea having a tunic with a sword, because when the enemy hits u, u have a lot less defense than fighters have with light or heavy. But i think that if u wore heavy/light armor and u were a preist, that would be much better.

I can't say much from experience and I do love being a Shillien Elder but I'd have to say Bishop is a pretty good class. Even as a Shillien Elder I envy the Bishop for his Mass Ressurection. But that only proves that Shillien Elders are resourceful enough to not need such a powerful ressurection ;)

Shillien Elders are the best, Wind Walk, Empower, Recharge, Greater Heals and Greater Group Heals, Focus, Greater Concentration, Kiss of Eva, Purify, Mental Aegis, Guidance....
There's just no match for and Shillien Elder as a buffer... No other mage has such a wide and useful selection, I mean if you put Bishop and a Prophet together then maybe it could be as good...
All the SE's buffs are useful and very much wanted...

I agree with ivailo. S.E. are top..Especially when a mage needs them,cause of empower.But prophets are good too,they have acumen.For elven elders i think that they are completely pointless.As for the bishops..bishops are healers not buffers!Their buffs are very low.

I WOULS HAVE TO SAY PROPHETS BECAUSE A FULL BUFF FROM PROPHET IS ALL YOU NEED. BUT IF YOUR IN A PARTY ORC OVERLORD BUFFS ARE INSANE
( BTW IM NEW TO THIS FORUM, BUT I AM PRETTY STRONG)

personaly speaking i think prophet...buff like...berserke spirit adn greater acumen on a mage it's insane...(casting speed)....but i must give credit to overlords...it's not easy to buff a whole clan in a row...perfect for sieges...warcryers perfect for partys...and about elders...wild magic it's a really cool buff....each class has diferent stuff...but prohets complete everything for both class...fighters and mages.

Wo.OW !!! I forgot about Overlords.... Because yes they are buffers and have really cool buffs .... But seriously they are like 1 of the two best PvPer's... I have a Overlord, well thats going to a friend in a week, but all I do is pvp with him... He owns completely...
Should we really count him as a buffer... because if we are his overall skill must make not just the best buffer in the game but the best character...
He has very good buffs + probably the best character for PvP... only has trouble with spellsingers and necromancer, owns everything else... Trust me I have one....
A bit of advice, everyone make a Overlord now, when he get's to level 40 give him all the money and equipment from all your other chracters, dont touch the SpS and necro if you have one... On B grade get him War of Batlle Axe and enchant it to +10 minimum, if it breaks once do it again... hopefully you will have enough money for that... That can get you going to level 75...
The Overlord that I have now has War Of Battle Axe + 10, this char is going to a friend for a present, but the weapon is coming with me and I am making an Overlord of my own...
