I'll start the gig,
The path of the fighter is always a good choice, but you have to consider the mages, they have fast strong long distance spells. But bows are always the best choice, look, a Spellhowler fights a Silver Ranger, the SH moves to get in range, the silver ranger (which has longshot 3 and rapid shot 3) shoots a couple of stun shots and whilst the mage is stunned, he fires a double shot and the mage that has low HP and DEF gets killed, and if things get ugly for the SR he just runs in circles until he heals with his espirit and sprint spells.

In theory the elves with bows is great they can shoot from far away they can heal themselves they can run and escape if they need to they are highly manouverable making them unlike other racesquite effective in groups of all evles. They can alsoact like an assasin with they're fast movement they can strike and leave before they know what happened they can attack from castles and be used as a last defence ina castle.
Science says we evolved from apes. Christianity says god created Adam and Eve. If science is right that means theres no god but if theres no god then who created the apes?.....thats a noodle scratcher.

Um I dont actually think thats what's going to happen to a SH. Sorry to dissapoint you. Silver Rangers are indeed a very good class. But my SH has never lost to one, except one who was 7 levels above me and with A grade armor. SH spells are leathel and the SR doens't exaclty have a lot of m.def... My SH usually kills them with a couple of spells.
It's true SR are the fastest and do tend to run away, but bear in mind that SH also has long range spells my one has (900range) and quick spells. You have to remember that to do a power for an archer it takes time and even though SR are the fastest archer is still takes time to shoot an arrow. By the time they shoot an arrow I get in range and do a spell. And by the time they do a power on me, like try and do the Double Arrow on me I am able to do two maybe even 3 spells, and the time it takes them to heal themselves is long and again I get in range.
Then again I supposse it depends on levels, gear and player ability... as I said I have never lost to an SR on my level or 2-3 levels above me, only to the one with A grade armor and was 7 levels above me, even with that it was still close and I left him on around 150-250 hp.

I agree... I had a lv 68 SH ( now shes delvld down to 53 *frown* ), and i can tell you... if an SR were to pvp with me.. by the time he gets stun shot off.. i would have already nuked him twice. High lvl spellhowlers have uncanny cast speed, especially if equipped with a homunkulus with acumen... very fast casting + very powerful spells... it could go either way... but if i had to bet on who would win between a 68 SH and 68 SR in a pvp, i would go with the SH. Im also playing an SR at the moment, so its not like my opinion is biased. But its true that SR dont have very high mdef at all. and i know very well just how powerful a high lvl SH is, and can be.

well i think this issue never gonna be resolved...cause depends a lot in diferents variables....like jewelry of ths sr and casting speed of the sh...of course if the sh has casting speed of 900 and up...sr gets owned (always depending on jewelry)....if the silver ranger gets grade S jewelry the sh gonna get own...but i must admit that the int of dark elf mages is the highest in thse serever 47 or 41 i think dont remember well....so....yeah dont pay me atenttion the SH owns the SR in no time :P

i agree. the elven fighter is great choice because elves are fast so people who want to level up fast can just kite or hit and run. most elves can outrun most early level mobs.

The differences are big... But to shorten things up I will give you advantages and disadvatages of the 5 races...
Humans -
Advantages: Balanced statistics, a wide range of
hero selection... Humans make good buffers, good tanks (dark avenger), very good mages such as Necromancers which are arguable the best PVPer's in the whole game.
Disadvantages: Humans have very slow run speed and since their stats are all round they dont really have an area in which they excell other classes.
Dark Elvens -
Advantages: Second best run speed in the game... Dark Elves make good tanks (shillien knight) good archers, good buffers too, and in my opinion the best fighter/buffer in the game (bladedancer)... they also have the highest m.atack of all mages.
Disadvantages: They have the lowest HP and MP out of all the races, and thats probably it, but don't be fooled the HP is a big problem with this class, but its still the most frequent played class (at least on my server).
Elvens-
Advantages: Best running speed in the game, average HP and MP bar, the fastest spell casting speed for nukers(heroes like spellsinger)... Elves make excellent archers (silver ranger) and they also make one of the best three mages in the game which is Spellsinger, the top three are very good and very close when it comes to pvp, it is yet not decided which is best...
Disadvantages: Elves have the lowest Strenght in the game making them the weakest fighters and they also have the second worse INT(affects m.atack) which means that they dont have a lot of m.atack.
Orcs-
Advantages: Orcs have the best HP bar in the game and the best physicall abillity in the game making them a pain in the ass to kill.... Orcs make very good tanks such as a Destroyer and they also make one of the 3 top PVPer's in the game which are Overlords.
Disadvantages: Orc fighters are the slowest in the battlefireld making it easy for and elven archer to hit + run and just kill them by doing that. Also in the mage section orcs have the lowest m.atack of all...
Dwarfs-
Advantages: Dwarfs have one of the best HP and MP bat in the game very near to that of the orcs, dwarfs are generally to make money with, you can have a Scavanger which has a special power that makes monsters drop extra things and then you are able to sell those things, or you can make a Artisan who can build things when he is provided with a recipe and the right resources... Not bad for pvp too though, the easiest way to make money is to make a Scavenger and a Artisan, get the resources with one and make the sruff with the other...
Disadvantages: Swarfs like orcs are slow on the battlefield. They also have only fighters and no magicians at all, and they also posses no special powers except their stun which doesnt help them against very speciallised classes.
Remember this in only a rough idea of their advantages, disadvantages and you work out the differences for yourself!!! There is much info to learn about these races and classes, but you will learn as you go along...
