People have asked before, "Why are pets important?" In truth, they're not. Before thinking about getting a pet, think about the ups and downs of getting a pet:
UPS
- They make killing monsters go faster for better hunting.
- Some can be used as transportation (Strider and Wyvern)
- They can pick up your items so you don't have to stop killing to pick items up.
- The more powerful ones can hunt FOR you or take hits for you while you level.
DOWNS
- They are hard to level
- Thay cost alot (Scrolls of ressurection, food, and equips)
- They start out weak
- Overall time consuming (long quests to get them, and they take quite awhlie to level)
So if you often find yourself with spare time, spare money, or just feel like getting your own little sidekick, getting a pet is a good idea. If you dont have alot of patients, or are struggling to get money, don't bother getting a pet.
